This rhubarb crumble with orange and almond brings freshness and a crispy bite together in one baking dish. A delicious dessert that is easy to make and full of soft flavours.

Ingredients
- 500 grhubarb
- 40 ggranulated sugar
- 0.5organic orange
- ½ tspcinnamon
- 125 gflour
- 90 gcold unsalted butter
- 70 glight brown caster sugar
- 40 gflaked almonds
- 1 small pinchsalt
Method

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Wash the rhubarb and cut the stalks into pieces of approximately 2 cm.

Place the rhubarb in a baking dish and mix with 40 g granulated sugar, the zest of half an orange, 2 tbsp orange juice, and ½ tsp cinnamon.

Place the flour, cold butter, light brown caster sugar, and salt in a bowl. Rub this with your fingertips until coarse crumbs form.

Carefully mix the flaked almonds through the crumble mixture.

Distribute the crumble evenly over the rhubarb, without pressing it down.

Bake the crumble for about 30–35 minutes in the centre of the oven, until the top is golden brown and crispy and the rhubarb is soft and juicy.

Let the crumble rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
